The Robert Koch Doktorandinnen- & Doktorandenkolleg (RoKo Doctoral Program; RoKoDoKo) is a voluntary association of doctoral students and young post-docs of the Robert Koch Institute.

The program organises quality-controlled symposia, methodological workshops and seminars to prepare for the requirements of the academic and non-academic labour market.

Focus

The program of the RoKoDoKo teaches modern technologies of surveillance and epidemiology, new trends in molecular biology and microbiology, advanced statistics and bioinformatics, and gives insights into the wide field of public health. The RoKoDoKo invites national and international researchers to discuss specific topics and to establish and foster cooperation, networks and connections to other research institutes. Topics of the RoKoDoKo have an interdisciplinary focus and broaden the interdisciplinary competence of all researchers.
