EXC 3112 Center for Chiral Electronics (CCE) – Graduate Center GraCE

The DFG-funded Cluster of Excellence “Center for Chiral Electronics” (CCE)  brings together leading researchers from physics and chemistry in Halle (Saale), Berlin, and Regensburg.  CCE will explore the unique potential of chirality in solid-state and molecular systems to develop next-generation electronic technologies – high-performance and energy-efficient – meeting  the growing demand for a more sustainable digital infrastructure.

Focus

The Graduate Center for Chiral Electronics (GraCE) offers a structured program to support scientific and personal development of young scientists promoting a successful career in academia and non-academic research and development.

GraCE provides a unique platform for education, early-career support, and innovation transfer. Our goal is to foster a vibrant, collaborative research environment that empowers emerging scientists at different stages of their career:

  • Student talents from bachelor and master programs
  • Doctoral candidates
  • Early postdocs
  • Experienced postdocs, independent junior researchers, junior professors

The interdisciplinary and tailored top-level training program of GraCE focuses on networking and scientific exchange, scientific training, and key competencies.

GraCE is embedded in well-established graduate structures of all CCE nodes: International Graduate Academy, Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg; Dahlem Research School, Freie Universität Berlin; Center for Graduate and Postgraduate Researchers, Universität Regensburg
