The Berlin School for Regenerative Therapies (BSRT) is a graduate school of Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin in cooperation with the Free University of Berlin, Humboldt University of Berlin, Technical University of Berlin, University of Potsdam and other renowned research institutions in the Max Planck Society as well as the Helmholtz and Leibniz associations. It was established in 2008 as part of the Excellence Initiative.

The central goal of the BSRT is to equip young scientists with the educational foundation necessary for conducting interdisciplinary research on endogenous tissue regeneration, with the ultimate aim of translating their results into therapeutic approaches.

The BSRT offers a program for national and international doctoral researchers with a background in medicine, natural and material sciences, and engineering, who are eager to work at the forefront of cutting-edge interdisciplinary research in Regenerative Medicine. The young scientists are introduced to modern scientific practices and state-of-the-art technologies in workshops designed to fit their needs. The program provides comprehensive training in both basic and translational science, with a strong focuse on cell and molecular biology, bioengineering, biotechnology and biomaterials.

In addition, the BSRT offers transferable skills courses, including communication, presentation and project management to prepare the young scientists for a future career in or outside academia.
